I have a 2000 model, if they are the same then.

Undo the screws securing the wheelarch liner to the underside of the bumper lower apron on each side. Release the stud-type retaining clips securing the wheelarch liner sections under the wheelarch and move the liner away from the bumper.

On models with front fog lights, reach up and disconnect the wiring connectors at the rear of the bulbholder on each side.

Undo the three bolts securing the bumper lower apron to the body of the front crossmember.

From under the wheelarch undo the two bolts each side securing the upper edge of the bumper to the front wing.

At the front undo the three bolts securing the upper edge of the bumper to the body upper crossmember.

Lift the bumper off the pegs at each top corner adjacent to the headlights.

Disengage the locating pegs along the top edge of the bumper on each side, then pull the bumper forward and CAREFULLY withdraw it from the front of the vehicle.

If necessary remove the impact absorber.
